અસ્ય શ્રી ચણ્ડી કવચસ્ય । બ્રહ્મા ઋષિઃ । અનુષ્ટુપ્ છન્દઃ ।
ચામુણ્ડા દેવતા । અઙ્ગન્યાસોક્ત માતરો બીજમ્ । નવાવરણો મન્ત્રશક્તિઃ । દિગ્બન્ધ દેવતાઃ તત્વમ્ । શ્રી જગદમ્બા પ્રીત્યર્થે સપ્તશતી પાઠાઙ્ગત્વેન જપે વિનિયોગઃ ॥
ૐ નમશ્ચણ્ડિકાયૈ
માર્કણ્ડેય ઉવાચ ।
ૐ યદ્ગુહ્યં પરમં લોકે સર્વરક્ષાકરં નૃણામ્ ।
યન્ન કસ્યચિદાખ્યાતં તન્મે બ્રૂહિ પિતામહ ॥ 1 ॥
બ્રહ્મોવાચ ।
અસ્તિ ગુહ્યતમં વિપ્ર સર્વભૂતોપકારકમ્ ।
દેવ્યાસ્તુ કવચં પુણ્યં તચ્છૃણુષ્વ મહામુને ॥ 2 ॥
પ્રથમં શૈલપુત્રી ચ દ્વિતીયં બ્રહ્મચારિણી ।
તૃતીયં ચન્દ્રઘણ્ટેતિ કૂષ્માણ્ડેતિ ચતુર્થકમ્ ॥ 3 ॥
પઞ્ચમં સ્કન્દમાતેતિ ષષ્ઠં કાત્યાયનીતિ ચ ।
સપ્તમં કાલરાત્રીતિ મહાગૌરીતિ ચાષ્ટમમ્ ॥ 4 ॥
નવમં સિદ્ધિદાત્રી ચ નવદુર્ગાઃ પ્રકીર્તિતાઃ ।
ઉક્તાન્યેતાનિ નામાનિ બ્રહ્મણૈવ મહાત્મના ॥ 5 ॥
અગ્નિના દહ્યમાનસ્તુ શત્રુમધ્યે ગતો રણે ।
વિષમે દુર્ગમે ચૈવ ભયાર્તાઃ શરણં ગતાઃ ॥ 6 ॥
ન તેષાં જાયતે કિઞ્ચિદશુભં રણસઙ્કટે ।
નાપદં તસ્ય પશ્યામિ શોકદુઃખભયં ન હિ ॥ 7 ॥
યૈસ્તુ ભક્ત્યા સ્મૃતા નૂનં તેષાં વૃદ્ધિઃ પ્રજાયતે ।
યે ત્વાં સ્મરન્તિ દેવેશિ રક્ષસે તાન્નસંશયઃ ॥ 8 ॥
પ્રેતસંસ્થા તુ ચામુણ્ડા વારાહી મહિષાસના ।
ઐન્દ્રી ગજસમારૂઢા વૈષ્ણવી ગરુડાસના ॥ 9 ॥
માહેશ્વરી વૃષારૂઢા કૌમારી શિખિવાહના ।
લક્ષ્મીઃ પદ્માસના દેવી પદ્મહસ્તા હરિપ્રિયા ॥ 10 ॥
શ્વેતરૂપધરા દેવી ઈશ્વરી વૃષવાહના ।
બ્રાહ્મી હંસસમારૂઢા સર્વાભરણભૂષિતા ॥ 11 ॥
ઇત્યેતા માતરઃ સર્વાઃ સર્વયોગસમન્વિતાઃ ।
નાનાભરણાશોભાઢ્યા નાનારત્નોપશોભિતાઃ ॥ 12 ॥
દૃશ્યન્તે રથમારૂઢા દેવ્યઃ ક્રોધસમાકુલાઃ ।
શઙ્ખં ચક્રં ગદાં શક્તિં હલં ચ મુસલાયુધમ્ ॥ 13 ॥
ખેટકં તોમરં ચૈવ પરશું પાશમેવ ચ ।
કુન્તાયુધં ત્રિશૂલં ચ શાર્ઙ્ગમાયુધમુત્તમમ્ ॥ 14 ॥
દૈત્યાનાં દેહનાશાય ભક્તાનામભયાય ચ ।
ધારયન્ત્યાયુધાનીત્થં દેવાનાં ચ હિતાય વૈ ॥ 15 ॥
નમસ્તેઽસ્તુ મહારૌદ્રે મહાઘોરપરાક્રમે ।
મહાબલે મહોત્સાહે મહાભયવિનાશિનિ ॥ 16 ॥
ત્રાહિ માં દેવિ દુષ્પ્રેક્ષ્યે શત્રૂણાં ભયવર્ધિનિ ।
પ્રાચ્યાં રક્ષતુ મામૈન્દ્રી આગ્નેય્યામગ્નિદેવતા ॥ 17 ॥
દક્ષિણેઽવતુ વારાહી નૈરૃત્યાં ખડ્ગધારિણી ।
પ્રતીચ્યાં વારુણી રક્ષેદ્વાયવ્યાં મૃગવાહિની ॥ 18 ॥
ઉદીચ્યાં પાતુ કૌમારી ઐશાન્યાં શૂલધારિણી ।
ઊર્ધ્વં બ્રહ્માણી મે રક્ષેદધસ્તાદ્વૈષ્ણવી તથા ॥ 19 ॥
એવં દશ દિશો રક્ષેચ્ચામુણ્ડા શવવાહના ।
જયા મે ચાગ્રતઃ પાતુ વિજયા પાતુ પૃષ્ઠતઃ ॥ 20 ॥
અજિતા વામપાર્શ્વે તુ દક્ષિણે ચાપરાજિતા ।
શિખામુદ્યોતિની રક્ષેદુમા મૂર્ધ્નિ વ્યવસ્થિતા ॥ 21 ॥
માલાધરી લલાટે ચ ભ્રુવૌ રક્ષેદ્યશસ્વિની ।
ત્રિનેત્રા ચ ભ્રુવોર્મધ્યે યમઘણ્ટા ચ નાસિકે ॥ 22 ॥
શઙ્ખિની ચક્ષુષોર્મધ્યે શ્રોત્રયોર્દ્વારવાસિની ।
કપોલૌ કાલિકા રક્ષેત્કર્ણમૂલે તુ શાઙ્કરી ॥ 23 ॥
નાસિકાયાં સુગન્ધા ચ ઉત્તરોષ્ઠે ચ ચર્ચિકા ।
અધરે ચામૃતકલા જિહ્વાયાં ચ સરસ્વતી ॥ 24 ॥
દન્તાન્ રક્ષતુ કૌમારી કણ્ઠદેશે તુ ચણ્ડિકા ।
ઘણ્ટિકાં ચિત્રઘણ્ટા ચ મહામાયા ચ તાલુકે ॥ 25 ॥
કામાક્ષી ચિબુકં રક્ષેદ્વાચં મે સર્વમઙ્ગલા ।
ગ્રીવાયાં ભદ્રકાલી ચ પૃષ્ઠવંશે ધનુર્ધરી ॥ 26 ॥
નીલગ્રીવા બહિઃ કણ્ઠે નલિકાં નલકૂબરી ।
સ્કન્ધયોઃ ખડ્ગિની રક્ષેદ્બાહૂ મે વજ્રધારિણી ॥ 27 ॥
હસ્તયોર્દણ્ડિની રક્ષેદમ્બિકા ચાઙ્ગુલીષુ ચ ।
નખાઞ્છૂલેશ્વરી રક્ષેત્કુક્ષૌ રક્ષેત્કુલેશ્વરી ॥ 28 ॥
સ્તનૌ રક્ષેન્મહાદેવી મનઃશોકવિનાશિની ।
હૃદયે લલિતા દેવી ઉદરે શૂલધારિણી ॥ 29 ॥
નાભૌ ચ કામિની રક્ષેદ્ગુહ્યં ગુહ્યેશ્વરી તથા ।
પૂતના કામિકા મેઢ્રં ગુદે મહિષવાહિની ॥ 30 ॥
કટ્યાં ભગવતી રક્ષેજ્જાનુની વિન્ધ્યવાસિની ।
જઙ્ઘે મહાબલા રક્ષેત્સર્વકામપ્રદાયિની ॥ 31 ॥
ગુલ્ફયોર્નારસિંહી ચ પાદપૃષ્ઠે તુ તૈજસી ।
પાદાઙ્ગુલીષુ શ્રી રક્ષેત્પાદાધસ્તલવાસિની ॥ 32 ॥
નખાન્ દંષ્ટ્રકરાલી ચ કેશાંશ્ચૈવોર્ધ્વકેશિની ।
રોમકૂપેષુ કૌમારી ત્વચં વાગીશ્વરી તથા ॥ 33 ॥
રક્તમજ્જાવસામાંસાન્યસ્થિમેદાંસિ પાર્વતી ।
અન્ત્રાણિ કાલરાત્રિશ્ચ પિત્તં ચ મુકુટેશ્વરી ॥ 34 ॥
પદ્માવતી પદ્મકોશે કફે ચૂડામણિસ્તથા ।
જ્વાલામુખી નખજ્વાલામભેદ્યા સર્વસન્ધિષુ ॥ 35 ॥
શુક્રં બ્રહ્માણિ! મે રક્ષેચ્છાયાં છત્રેશ્વરી તથા ।
અહઙ્કારં મનો બુદ્ધિં રક્ષેન્મે ધર્મધારિણી ॥ 36 ॥
પ્રાણાપાનૌ તથા વ્યાનમુદાનં ચ સમાનકમ્ ।
વજ્રહસ્તા ચ મે રક્ષેત્પ્રાણં કલ્યાણશોભના ॥ 37 ॥
રસે રૂપે ચ ગન્ધે ચ શબ્દે સ્પર્શે ચ યોગિની ।
સત્ત્વં રજસ્તમશ્ચૈવ રક્ષેન્નારાયણી સદા ॥ 38 ॥
આયૂ રક્ષતુ વારાહી ધર્મં રક્ષતુ વૈષ્ણવી ।
યશઃ કીર્તિં ચ લક્ષ્મીં ચ ધનં વિદ્યાં ચ ચક્રિણી ॥ 39 ॥
ગોત્રમિન્દ્રાણિ! મે રક્ષેત્પશૂન્મે રક્ષ ચણ્ડિકે ।
પુત્રાન્ રક્ષેન્મહાલક્ષ્મીર્ભાર્યાં રક્ષતુ ભૈરવી ॥ 40 ॥
પન્થાનં સુપથા રક્ષેન્માર્ગં ક્ષેમકરી તથા ।
રાજદ્વારે મહાલક્ષ્મીર્વિજયા સર્વતઃ સ્થિતા ॥ 41 ॥
રક્ષાહીનં તુ યત્-સ્થાનં વર્જિતં કવચેન તુ ।
તત્સર્વં રક્ષ મે દેવિ! જયન્તી પાપનાશિની ॥ 42 ॥
પદમેકં ન ગચ્છેત્તુ યદીચ્છેચ્છુભમાત્મનઃ ।
કવચેનાવૃતો નિત્યં યત્ર યત્રૈવ ગચ્છતિ ॥ 43 ॥
તત્ર તત્રાર્થલાભશ્ચ વિજયઃ સાર્વકામિકઃ ।
યં યં ચિન્તયતે કામં તં તં પ્રાપ્નોતિ નિશ્ચિતમ્ ॥ 44 ॥
પરમૈશ્વર્યમતુલં પ્રાપ્સ્યતે ભૂતલે પુમાન્ ।
નિર્ભયો જાયતે મર્ત્યઃ સઙ્ગ્રામેષ્વપરાજિતઃ ॥ 45 ॥
ત્રૈલોક્યે તુ ભવેત્પૂજ્યઃ કવચેનાવૃતઃ પુમાન્ ।
ઇદં તુ દેવ્યાઃ કવચં દેવાનામપિ દુર્લભમ્ ॥ 46 ॥
યઃ પઠેત્પ્રયતો નિત્યં ત્રિસન્ધ્યં શ્રદ્ધયાન્વિતઃ ।
દૈવીકલા ભવેત્તસ્ય ત્રૈલોક્યેષ્વપરાજિતઃ । 47 ॥
જીવેદ્વર્ષશતં સાગ્રમપમૃત્યુવિવર્જિતઃ ।
નશ્યન્તિ વ્યાધયઃ સર્વે લૂતાવિસ્ફોટકાદયઃ ॥ 48 ॥
સ્થાવરં જઙ્ગમં ચૈવ કૃત્રિમં ચૈવ યદ્વિષમ્ ।
અભિચારાણિ સર્વાણિ મન્ત્રયન્ત્રાણિ ભૂતલે ॥ 49 ॥
ભૂચરાઃ ખેચરાશ્ચૈવ જુલજાશ્ચોપદેશિકાઃ ।
સહજા કુલજા માલા ડાકિની શાકિની તથા ॥ 50 ॥
અન્તરિક્ષચરા ઘોરા ડાકિન્યશ્ચ મહાબલાઃ ।
ગ્રહભૂતપિશાચાશ્ચ યક્ષગન્ધર્વરાક્ષસાઃ ॥ 51 ॥
બ્રહ્મરાક્ષસવેતાલાઃ કૂષ્માણ્ડા ભૈરવાદયઃ ।
નશ્યન્તિ દર્શનાત્તસ્ય કવચે હૃદિ સંસ્થિતે ॥ 52 ॥
માનોન્નતિર્ભવેદ્રાજ્ઞસ્તેજોવૃદ્ધિકરં પરમ્ ।
યશસા વર્ધતે સોઽપિ કીર્તિમણ્ડિતભૂતલે ॥ 53 ॥
જપેત્સપ્તશતીં ચણ્ડીં કૃત્વા તુ કવચં પુરા ।
યાવદ્ભૂમણ્ડલં ધત્તે સશૈલવનકાનનમ્ ॥ 54 ॥
તાવત્તિષ્ઠતિ મેદિન્યાં સન્તતિઃ પુત્રપૌત્રિકી ।
દેહાન્તે પરમં સ્થાનં યત્સુરૈરપિ દુર્લભમ્ ॥ 55 ॥
પ્રાપ્નોતિ પુરુષો નિત્યં મહામાયાપ્રસાદતઃ ।
લભતે પરમં રૂપં શિવેન સહ મોદતે ॥ 56 ॥
