ଚତୁର୍ଭୁଜଃ ସୂର୍ଯସୁତଃ ପ୍ରସନ୍ନଃ
ସଦା ମମସ୍ଯାଦ୍ଵରଦଃ ପ୍ରଶାନ୍ତଃ ॥
ବ୍ରହ୍ମା ଉଵାଚ ।
ଶୃଣୁଧ୍ଵଂ ଋଷଯଃ ସର୍ଵେ ଶନି ପୀଡାହରଂ ମହତ୍ ।
କଵଚଂ ଶନିରାଜସ୍ଯ ସୌରୈରିଦମନୁତ୍ତମମ୍ ॥
କଵଚଂ ଦେଵତାଵାସଂ ଵଜ୍ର ପଞ୍ଜର ସଂଙ୍ଗକମ୍ ।
ଶନୈଶ୍ଚର ପ୍ରୀତିକରଂ ସର୍ଵସୌଭାଗ୍ଯଦାଯକମ୍ ॥
ଅଥ ଶ୍ରୀ ଶନି ଵଜ୍ର ପଞ୍ଜର କଵଚମ୍ ।

ନାସାଂ ଵୈଵସ୍ଵତଃ ପାତୁ ମୁଖଂ ମେ ଭାସ୍କରଃ ସଦା ।
ସ୍ନିଗ୍ଧକଣ୍ଠଶ୍ଚ ମେ କଣ୍ଠଂ ଭୁଜୌ ପାତୁ ମହାଭୁଜଃ ॥ 2 ॥
ସ୍କନ୍ଧୌ ପାତୁ ଶନିଶ୍ଚୈଵ କରୌ ପାତୁ ଶୁଭପ୍ରଦଃ ।
ଵକ୍ଷଃ ପାତୁ ଯମଭ୍ରାତା କୁକ୍ଷିଂ ପାତ୍ଵସିତସ୍ତଥା ॥ 3 ॥
ନାଭିଂ ଗ୍ରହପତିଃ ପାତୁ ମନ୍ଦଃ ପାତୁ କଟିଂ ତଥା ।
ଊରୂ ମମାନ୍ତକଃ ପାତୁ ଯମୋ ଜାନୁଯୁଗଂ ତଥା ॥ 4 ॥
ପାଦୌ ମନ୍ଦଗତିଃ ପାତୁ ସର୍ଵାଙ୍ଗଂ ପାତୁ ପିପ୍ପଲଃ ।
ଅଙ୍ଗୋପାଙ୍ଗାନି ସର୍ଵାଣି ରକ୍ଷେନ୍ ମେ ସୂର୍ଯନନ୍ଦନଃ ॥ 5 ॥

ଇତ୍ଯେତତ୍କଵଚଂ ଦିଵ୍ଯଂ ପଠେତ୍ସୂର୍ଯସୁତସ୍ଯ ଯଃ ।
ନ ତସ୍ଯ ଜାଯତେ ପୀଡା ପ୍ରୀତୋ ଭଵତି ସୂର୍ଯଜଃ ॥
ଵ୍ଯଯଜନ୍ମଦ୍ଵିତୀଯସ୍ଥୋ ମୃତ୍ଯୁସ୍ଥାନଗତୋପିଵା ।
କଲତ୍ରସ୍ଥୋ ଗତୋଵାପି ସୁପ୍ରୀତସ୍ତୁ ସଦା ଶନିଃ ॥
ଅଷ୍ଟମସ୍ଥୋ ସୂର୍ଯସୁତେ ଵ୍ଯଯେ ଜନ୍ମଦ୍ଵିତୀଯଗେ ।
