Panchang by Vedic Tithi

What the widget shows

  • Tithi with paksha and its end time, and the tithi that follows
  • Nakshatra and Yoga with end times
  • Sunrise and sunset
  • Rahu Kaal and Abhijit Muhurat
  • A link to the full Panchang for the day
  • English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada or Malayalam, with regional names (Tamil Thiruvathirai, Malayalam Makayiram, Telugu Padyami)

How the times are calculated

Every time is calculated for the city you choose, with sunrise-based Hindu day rules and the Lahiri ayanamsa, the same calculations as the Panchang pages on Vedic Tithi. The widget refreshes at least every hour.

Questions

Is the widget free?

Yes. There is no sign-up and no limit. Please keep the "Panchang by Vedic Tithi" line under the widget.

Which languages does it support?

English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Labels, dates and the tithi, nakshatra and yoga names all appear in the language you choose.

Will it slow down my website?

No. The widget is a small HTML page with no scripts, served from a cache close to your visitors, and it loads lazily.

My city isn't listed. What should I choose?

Choose the nearest listed city in the same time zone. Sunrise-based times can differ by a few minutes between nearby cities. Write to us and we'll add your city.

Does it work on WordPress, Wix and Squarespace?

Yes. Any site builder that lets you add HTML or an embed block can show it.
