Would you like to know how the Panchang Calendar works?
The Hindu panchang calendar is lunisolar, meaning it tracks both the Moon and the Sun. A lunar month lasts about 29.5 days, based on the Moon's cycle. The hindu calendar with tithi shows Tithi (lunar day), which changes at different times than the regular day.
There are two systems: Purnimanta (used in North India) starts the month after the full moon, while Amanta (used in South India) starts after the new moon. You can switch between these in the calendar settings.

Why Location Matters
We calculate this calendar specifically for Ujjain. Sunrise, sunset, and Tithi transitions happen at different times in different places. Using a calendar made for Delhi won't give you accurate times if you're in Mumbai or New York.
This matters because many rituals and practices are tied to specific times. Location-specific calculations ensure you get the right timings for your area.
